Easy to publish videos too ....

The first video is the one Lisa wanted me to post. I, however, think the second is funnier and more appropriately put down in the Gallagher Annals.

Wake up sleepy heads :)

I know that whenever you guys call, it seems like I have a screaming baby in the background. This is because Gabe and Liam want to be held the ENTIRE time they're awake. And since they tend to be on opposite sleep/awake schedules throughout the day, if I were to hold them while they were awake, I'd get nothing done. So once they are fed, cleaned and snuggled with for an appropriate time, I put them down, and then they cry... and cry... and cry... but with that said, when they do sleep, they sleep very, very well. Not last night, but the night before, after 3 hours of crying and snuggle-eating because he was so outrageously tired, Liam slept for almost 11 hours (he only woke up once for like 5-10 minutes to eat at 7am.)

Anywho... here's me watching the boys wake up at 9:45am for their morning cleaning and feeding (Gabe is waking up in this series of pictures, Liam woke up about 5 minutes later once I took the covers off of them.)

Here's Liam refusing to wake up:

A couple pictures of Gabe stretching:

It's brother time!!! Look at the 3rd picture down of Gabe smiling! So cute!!!

After 'brother time' each boy gets washed and fed. Gabe was taken care of first, so while I started on Liam, he got put in the swing... and fell right asleep again.

Here's Liam after he was all taken care of. It's currently 12:30 and I can hear them both beginning to stir on the baby monitor. Their "crazy time" is in the afternoon until about 5pm - they both usually wake up then and I have to put one of them down... hence all the noise when you call. My recommendations - call in the morning or after Joe gets home from work :)

Sunday Morning

The boys only get 2 showers/baths a week (on the other days they get scrub baths in the morning). They get a bath Wednesday night and a shower with Daddy Sunday morning. They get the shower on Sunday because it relaxes them so much, they fall asleep almost immediately and are simply wonderful during Mass.

Joe can only hold one baby at a time while I wash it - so after we wash one baby, I run the baby out of the bathroom, dry him, quick put a diaper on him, wrap him up in a towel and then take the next baby into the shower. The diaper HAS to go on because, like I said, they get VERY relaxed and we've had some 'accidents' after showers on the bed.

This is Gabe after his shower last Sunday. He was washed 2nd... so in this photo he's just starting to fall asleep.

This is how we found Liam - he's fast asleep under that towel :)
