Less than 24 hours later...

Look!  His second tooth came in!!!

Poopies + Crabbiness = New Teeth

This picture was taken yesterday. Gabers' second top tooth looks like it might be breaking through by this evening or tomorrow.  Liam isn't showing any swollen gums yet... but his diapers are hinting at teeth being here soon enough :)

Outside?!?!?!

That's all we use to have to say to Allie and Maddie in order to get them excited about heading out of our apartment in Arizona.  They only ever heard those words three times in Baton Rouge since outside our front door was a parking lot, not a yard.  Anyway... Allie has learned that the stroller = "Outside?!?!?!"  It has been sitting  opened in the hallway for a couple of days now because the weather has been lovely and we've been going for walks.  For the past two days, I'll put one baby in and before I return with the next kid, Allie has stationed himself in the stroller ready to roll out.  Yesterday I struggled to pull him out of the stroller (he really dug in - nails and all)... and then he tried to jump into the bottom storage portion.  Poor boy.  We'll have our yard tidied up soon enough bud.

You can see that Maddie wanted in as well :)

Liam vs. his Hat

Liam is sleeping under there... clearly the hat won that round :)

Don Alastor

Joe said that it looks like Allie is telling us to do something bad in Italian.

Just a cute picture

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

So many people bought us Irish outfits... so many.  Anyways, I thought I should at least take pictures of the boys in them on Saint Patrick's Day (a couple they had already outgrown).

This was the green pajamas Joe put them in after their bath the night before...

Here they are in outfits my old boss, Dr. Cave, bought them.  They say:  Irish Roots, American Soil

The hats say: Kiss me, I'm Irish.  Their shirts say: Little Leprechaun.  Mommy and Daddy say: my goodness... with hats on you look so much alike.  Guess who you think is who and then read the post below to help you figure out the answer.

These outfits say: Lucky and Charming.  Gabe looks like he's posing for a class photo in the second picture :)

Forget Thumbs!!!

Liam discovered his feet... and hasn't looked back.  For the past 2 weeks he's been obsessed with them.  Each morning after changing their diapers, I try to give him exposed-feet time.  He's seriously in awe of them :)  He's now taken to sucking on his left foot - making the toe portion of his pajamas wet all the time.  A little cute... A little gross.

...Ombliboo Tombliboo Sit on the floor...

Liam pretty much has sitting down.  We only put the pillow down for when he's tired of sitting and decides to straighten out to roll over and "crawl"

Gabe is still a little wobbly, so he actually needs support still.

The above title is a reference to a line in the Tombliboos' song on "In the Night Garden", which is the British equivalent of the Teletubbies.  Each time a character first appears on screen during an episode, they have a little song and dance they do.  The boys LOVE this show.  As soon as they hear the intro music they quiet down... Kate sent us stuffed animals of the characters Upsy Daisy, Igglepiggle and Makka Pakka and a CD with songs on it.  Whenever I put the CD on, the boys immediately turn towards the TV looking for the show to come on.

My favorite character is Makka Pakka - he's this little creature that lives all by himself in a cave.  Everyday he travels around the garden pushing his trolley, his Og-Pog, cleaning everything (he washes everyone's faces, the train (the Nicky-Nonk), the air balloon thingie (the Pinky-Ponk), stones, etc.) and organizing the stones into circle formations or by stacking them.  At night he goes to sleep with a stone... he's really cute... and very tidy :)  Here's a picture of him cleaning some already relatively clean stones.  I told Joe that I would rather much like to have a Makka Pakka in our home... I feel we could bond over our mutual desire to rewash bathrooms that were only just cleaned 2-days earlier before guests come in order that they smell like fresh clorox :)

We'll be crawling soon enough, just you wait and see!

Bananas for Bananas!!!

The boys are eating bananas through these mesh thingies that their Aunt Kate bought them for Christmas.

here's The Gabers:

and here's Young Master William:

The boys don't eat anything more than a couple of teaspoons of food at any given "feeding"... so, as expected, their new feeding devices quickly turned into new teething toys.

Getting use to the kitchen and dining area

Trying to follow the ideas of "Baby Led Weaning" makes for lots of messes. These messes are made tremendously worse by our total lack of interest in our food vs. the ceiling fan above us.  To get our focus back onto the food placed in front of us, our Mommy has us sit in our highchairs with some toys for about 15-20 minutes to get us use to being in these new rooms before giving us any of our yummy yummies.
