"Look Who's Walking 2"

Gabe is about two weeks ahead of Liam in walking development. He walks across rooms, over toy strewn floors, and all the while doing his best impression of a chimpanzee. Liam is catching up though. He progressed from two steps to six steps in about 4 hours his first day (Last Friday). He's taken many a face-planting fall, but always with good humor.

Here's Daddy playing with the boys during dinner. For some reason they have started holding each other's hands during feeding. It's really cute and very hard to capture on camera. As soon as you bring the camera or video camera out, they usually let go.

"It's not a tent Lisa, it's a fort," said Joe.

I threw a blanket over the boys jumperoo the other day... and they loved it.

Liam is in the white shirt, Gabe is in the tan.

Allie tried to get in on the fun as well.

Cheerios!

We no longer eat those dissolvable, organic, super-expensive, puffs anymore... we've moved onto cheap, yet-surprisingly-containing-less-sugar-than-the-natural/organic-alternatives-of-the-cereal,  Cheerios!!!

Nanny and Pappap Come to Cincinnati

Nanny and Pappap came to Cincinnati for a great visit this weekend. They took the boys to the pool and continued their water baby training. We had a great cookout on Saturday night and ate a lot of jelly beans.

Gabe woke up yesterday and decided that he wanted to walk. He was sick of crawling around on his belly like a common Louisiana cockroach. He's raised the bar and it would appear the ball's in Liam's court now. "I want to see you both fighting for your parents' love!" ... "Okay Lisa, it's your child against my child. The winner will be showered with praise. The loser will be taunted and booed until my throat is sore." Adapted from H. Simpson

Beach Training

Here are some video of the boys first trip to the pool. They missed their nap to go to the pool, so half the time they looked as if they were going to fall asleep. Nevertheless, they had a great time.

Their first dunkings

All tuckered out after a long day.
